Have a Google search question? 'cause we won't answer it

I find this AdSense blog post kind of funny, where the guys at the adsense team explain very politely once again that questions about Google.com listings are not to be directed to them, so far so good. It's the law.

But then they encourage people to visit this page among other links, to improve site's ranking. The funny thing is, if you follow the provided link you reach a page that says nothing of value to improve site's ranking. And I quote:

Sites' positions in our search results are determined based on a number of factors designed to provide end-users with helpful, accurate search results.

Yarayarayara yara, number of mysterious factors yarayara yara.

I don't know about you, but I'd prefer a maybe more blunt and straightforward approach, like:

Hey kiddo, if you got Google Search questions, we won't answer them. Because we can not let thousands of webmastertrolls to outsmart our algorithms, rendering the search engine useless.

And that's that.
